Follow along with our short recipe video and learn how to make easy snickerdoodle blondies! This recipe combines the classic brown sugar and vanilla notes of a blondie with the perfect balanced flavour of cinnamon spice of a snickerdoodle! These snickerdoodle blondie bars have a soft chewy center and a nice crispy cinnamon sugar topping. These easy blondies can be made without a mixer, making this an easy recipe to whip up in a short amount of time. Full recipe and instructions below.
Snickerdoodle blondies recipe:
Blondie Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour 130g
1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1.5g
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar 2g
1 cup packed brown sugar90g
1/2 cup salted butter (melted and cooled slightly) 113g
1 large room temperature egg 55-60g
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4g
Cinnamon sugar topping ingredients:
2 tablespoons granulated white sugar 25g
1 teaspoon cinnamon 2.5g
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F/175C. Line an 8"x8" pan with parchment paper. In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, and cream of tartar. Whisk to combine and set aside. In a separate large bowl combine brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Whisk for 2 minutes, or until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is glossy. Add the dry ingredients. Using a spatula mix until just combined. This can also be done using a mixer if you would prefer. Spread the blondie batter into the prepared pan. Use your spatula to spread it into all the corners and try to get it as even as you can. In a small bowl combine white and cinnamon. Whisk until combined and sprinkle the evenly over top of your blondies to add the snickerdoodle flavour. Bake 20-24 minutes, or until the edges are browned. The center may still look soft but it will firm up as it cools. Allow to cool for an hour and then slice into bars.
