Can a Hex Maniac Beat Pokemon Alpha Sapphire?

The Hex Maniac is a fan-favourite trainer class that uses ghost and psychic-type Pokémon. We've been granted the rare opportunity to follow one of these Hex Maniacs on her journey through Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Can this spooky, eerie girl become the champion of Hoenn? And before you say it, no, there will not be any Moomoo Milk for sale. Stop asking.

Rules for this run:
1. Fainting = Deadge
2. Only allowed to catch the first Ghost or Psychic-type Pokemon found in each area*
3. Nickname all caught Pokémon
4. Play on "Set" battle mode
5. No items in battle (held items are fine)
6. Mega evolution only allowed in battles where the opponent megas as well

Hex Maniac's Additional Special "Clauses":
1. Asocial Clause: no talking to NPCs unless absolutely necessary (no Wynaut egg, etc.)
2. Insect Clause: no bug-type Pokemon (Shedinja)
3. Legend Clause: no legendaries (Latias)
