Bicycle Ride Down Out of the Sumatran Hills (Asahan River Valley, Indonesia)

I don't know if the world needed a 3-hour video about a single day on my bicycle, but that's how much video I ended up recording, so that's what I decided to post. I thought about shortening it, as any good YouTuber would and should do, but that seemed like too much work. Instead, I made sure the Chapter Titles were detailed, so people can skip the parts that don't interest them.

I guess the video is so long because I allowed myself to talk while cycling. It's a bit like a behind-the-scenes video from that point of view. Plus, I did a variety of things, and I recorded them all. On any day on a bicycle, you are going to have a number of experiences. And on this day, I climbed up some hills, went down some hills, rode on some rough roads and on some smooth roads, met a fellow cyclist from Japan named Taka, witnessed some oil palm fruit harvesting, revisited a stunning suspension bridge, enjoyed some fantastic iced drinks at the side of the road, settled into a new home, AND went out for coffee and trainspotting.

It was a full day and a satisfying one. I hope you enjoy the video that resulted.
