Our Austria Trip Part 1/2

We had a lovely time in Austria beside rain every day. Get to visit our friend Claudia and his son and also managed to visit Salzburg, Vienna, HallStatt and others... We didn't get to walk around Hallstatt due to too many tourist and no parking. If you want to visit Hallstatt it is good idea to take train or bus or park at the Dachstein Giant Ice Cave parking and take a bus to Hallstatt town or get there early in the morning. We really miss that Hallstatt town. Dachstein Giant Ice Cave service is not great and be very careful when you visit the cave. Getting to the cave entrance is about 30mins walk up hill and not an easy task for many people. Inside cave is very slippery and dark. Group of 50 to hundred people in a batch and switching off the light before all people get out of the cave is a life threatening hazard. I am fine they turnoff the music but light... It is surprising how they treat tourist who bring the income to their town. Our guide is very rude. I asked why turned off the light at the last section? The answer is we need to walk faster so we don't pretend to walk slow. Making no sense... There are 30 peoples ahead of us do, they expect us to push thru?? Where is safety awareness?
