Three seperate Pilot companies service the Port of Melbourne and Geelong that are based out of Queenscliff Harbour.
Port Phillip Sea Pilots, Poseidon Pilots and Auriga Pilots. These are some of the boats seen at Queenscliff. There are other boats based in Melbourne that run to the anchorage area in the bay.
