Hello Friends,

Downsizing my stationery collection is probably one of the best things I did to myself this year. Last year was the peak of my impulse shopping and stress buying, the joy that new stationery brought me was so short lived and I just kept repeating the cycles in order to fill the emptiness I'd felt. It even made me question myself whether I still have the same passion for journaling or it just wasn't my thing anymore.

In the beginning of 2021, I set myself a a month long stationery buying ban. I thought I would not able to make it, but it was so easy and I extend it to two months, then three months and it goes on and on.. I did buy a few items in between but those are things that I have finished using and in need to replenish. I am proud to say I did not buy anything "Extra". I rewarded myself a mini haul last month and until this day, I am glad to say I am feeling more contented than ever.

The joy of owning less but gaining more.
