Green Iguana + Piano: Khachaturian Andantino. Grüner Leguan. Ute Neumerkel's Animal Films with music

A green iguana, a splendid male in close-up shot together with Khachaturian’s wonderful Andantino for piano, which I play at my partly restored 1928 Bechstein grand. [DEUTSCH unten] The intense head movements are display behaviour. The iguana by chance was in a good film position: very near and nearly without disturbing reflections. The only disadvantage was that I had to stay for three minutes in a very uncomfortable position and could not hold the camera steadily. The sudden little contact with the female could not be filmed because of too many reflections of the pane. The green iguana often has other colours such as this one. ~~~~~ Grüner Leguan, prachtvolles Männchen in Nahaufnahme mit Chatschaturjans stimmungsvollem Andantino für Klavier. Intensive Blicke und plötzlich ein heftiges Kopfnicken, um einem Weibchen zu imponieren. Der Leguan war zufällig in einer nahen und günstigen Position zum Filmen: keine Spiegelungen oder Besucher im Bild, nur musste ich unbequem in die Hocke gehen, eine nicht ganz wackelfreie Haltung für drei Minuten! Der anschließende blitzschnelle Kontakt mit dem Weibchen war wegen der Glaskante und Spiegelungen leider nicht mehr zu filmen.
Der grüne Leguan hat oft ganz andere Farben, wie dieser hier. Leguane komme vor allem in Mittelamerika und dem nördlichen Südamerika vor.
Aram Chatschaturjans Andantino spiele ich selbst an meinem alten, teilweise restaurierten 1928er Bechstein-Flügel.
