Story:

Gray, the ordinary ice mage, and Lucy, daughter of the wealthy Heartfillia family are in love. One day, her father discovers this relationship and forbids her from meeting with him again. She knows what her father is capable of so she fears for Gray's safety and tells him it's better for them to part, but he replies that he will not let her go.
Her father uses phantom and destroys her guild. She cries as she watches Gray fight and her guild falling apart. Later, she decided in order to protect Gray and guild she'll have to give in to her father's wishes. She leaves a not to Gray and leaves for the station. When Gray went to her house and finds the note, he rushes to the station as well.
As Lucy was meeting her father, he was assuring her that what she did is wise and she's obliged to marry the son of another wealthy family. As she was about to accept, Gray busts in and argues with her father. Gray's feelings encouraged her to speak up and stand up for him as well, telling him that she loves him. (The rest is clear I guess)
