In the village of Thornthwaite, neighbor to The Forbidden Forest, a tribute is held every decade. Anyone brave enough to volunteer will enter The Forbidden Forest, and only one of them comes out. In exchange for the tribute to The Forbidden Forest, the village will experience a great harvest, and the family of the survivor will receive good luck as well as the glory that comes with having survived the forest.
