SPT Presents... Iphigenia in Aulis, Part 2

🎭Shakespeare Performance Troupe presents a cut of Iphigenia in Aulis. With the Greek Forces tapped at Aulis by the winds, Agamemnon sends for his wife, Clytemnestra, and their daughter, Iphigenia, under the guise of a wedding (with a little convincing from his brother, Menelaus). However, the two find out that Iphigenia is not to be married, but sacrificed in order to let the Greek ships set sail. Her supposed husband, Achilles, finds out and attempts to save her, but Iphigenia eventually accepts her fate and allows herself to be sacrificed in order to help win the war and destroy the city of Troy.

🎭 Content Warnings include themes of war and violence, death, parental manipulation, murder and discussion of murder, abusive family dynamics, partner violence, fake blood, and ableist language.
