Every year at the beginning of September, the small town of Greenville in the US state of Maine, with its population of around 1,500, is literally flooded with seaplanes. Their pilots and families take part in the International Seaplane Fly-In, which has been held since 1973. Greenville is also home to the world's only Douglas DC-3 on floats, which has been airworthy again since 2024. A film by Andrea and Hansjörg Bürgi
