This video is about the strip down of the rear axle and removal of the half shafts as part of the Frontline drum to disc brake upgrade / conversion. Being on wires the hubs come with their own challenges. The half shafts don't have to be removed to do this upgrade / conversion, however I chose to do so to replace the wheel bearings and the axle lip seals.
Half shaft removal and then an issue I found with the Frontline conversion kit when reassembling. This problem has been easily resolved, and the replacement parts are being air bagged over to me in true Frontline fashion. Great company to work with. Problem is caused by the Australian ADR rules and the design of the handbrake mechanism, can't use the newer Frontline design caliper.
