This is a “No Narration” episode for the now replaced area called “KidZone” of Universal Studios Florida. Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds in a throwback video of the KidZone area where you can travel back to good ol’kid fun where we revisit the land of Woody Woodpecker, Curious George and other cartoon characters. KidZone opened in 1999 and after years of fun and laughs for most children, the characters began to fall out of favor for new beloved modern animation characters. This decline in appeal resulted in a new land being developed by Universal Orlando. KidZone closed in 2023 for re-theming and opening of the new DreamWorks Land including the revamping of the kid friendly Woody’s Rollercoaster to new The Trollercoaster! Also keeping Shrek, Fiona and Donkey including a dedicated Swamp for Little Ogre’s play area.
DreamWorks Land is now home to Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, and as mentioned characters from Shrek franchise!
