Here at My Suzuki, we follow certain guidelines when we choose what we deem the ideal age and mileage to be for a Jimny from Japan, which is dynamic and changes as time goes on.
We currently have a stock of both Facelift (2012 on) and pre-facelift (pre 2013), and having two black examples was the ideal opportunity to compare them, as a question often asked is "what is the difference?"
So we put two very similar cars side by side, and had a look at them.
One is a 2009 Wild Wind, and the other a 2013 X-Adventure, both Black Pearlescent.
There have been a few subtle changes to the Mk3 Jimny in the 20 years it was with us, but the year they changed the bonnet is, at least cosmetically, the one with the biggest changes.
We also briefly cover the potential issues swapping a newer bonnet onto an older car.
