Katara, Waterbending Master Budget Competitive BUDGET BENDER

Katara, Waterbending Master might actually be the best commander in mono blue and is probably the best card draw engine you could have in the command zone full stop. This sub $100 (commander not included) version of Katara is a budget competitive tempo control list that uses it's suite of 37 instants to remove early threats, stop wins, and protect our draw engine. Once we make it to the late game (roughly turn 4), we will turn the corner. We will be drawing 4 to 7 cards on each combat step and we will look to run extra turn spells into more card draw into more extra turn spells to set up and infinite turn win condition. We just need isochron scepter with either mystical tutor or Narset's reversal imprinted. We can use the mystical tutor to make sure we draw and recast Nexus of Fate (or Beacon of Tomorrow) on every turn. Those extra turn spells get shuffled back into our library so we can use mystical tutor to put the extra turn on top of our deck and draw it over and over and close the game out with little flying dude beats. We can use Narset's reversal instead of Mystical Tutor and just cast any of our Time Warp effects, make a copy of it with Narset's reversal (on Isochron Scepter) and send it back to our hand to be used again and again. This commander is insane. We can easily three v one the table once we are drawing nearly a full grip (sometimes more) every turn. This deck is highly interactive and, honestly, if it gets a few turns to get going, OPPRESSIVE. Don't play this deck into a "high power" pod. This is a budget competitive deck that will make for a bad play experience against anything short of Budget Comp opposition. USE THIS POWER FOR GOOD!!!
