High humidity and high temperatures were perfect for a night of finding salamanders. It seemed like everywhere we looked another critter was crawling around.
What we saw:
American Bullfrog | Lithobates catesbeianus - 5 + tadpoles
Painted Turtle | Chrysemys picta - 4
Pond Slider | Trachemys scripta - Lots
Spotted Turtle | Clemmys guttata - 1
Common Snapping Turtle | Chelydra serpentina - 5
Eastern Red-backed Salamander | Plethodon cinereus - 1
Southern Leopard Frog | Lithobates sphenocephalus - 4
Common Watersnake | Nerodia sipedon - 1
