In today's video, I go over the steps I took to chlorinate and shock my well due to iron bacteria build up. While my water was clear, it felt a bit slimy and started to get a sulfur/rotten egg odor. There was also the orange-colored residue that gets left behind. My particular well has a submersible pump and I had the well cap replaced so I could actually have access for the ability to introduce chlorine to the well. In a previous video, I attempted to do this but was foiled by my well cap, which was replaced just before this video was taken.
