Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. and SBCUSD unveiled the Field of Dreams project at Curtis Middle School—a $4 million investment to renovate the school’s baseball field for more than 600 students.
The project will deliver a renovated field, energy-efficient lighting, and shaded seating, creating year-round space for youth sports and community events. Supported by $3 million from Supervisor Baca, Jr. and $1 million from SBCUSD, Field of Dreams is a partnership focused on helping local youth learn, play, and dream big.
