OUR VERSION OF ADOBO
Ingredients:
Doña Elena Pomace Olive Oil
Liempo (1 kg)
Calamansi (20 pcs)
Garlic
Soy Sauce
Ground Pepper
Rock Salt
Directions:
1. Cut 1 kilo of liempo into small chunks
2. Squeeze 20 pcs of calamansi into the pork
3. Add soy sauce enough to cover the pork evenly
4. Pour Doña Elena Pomace Olive Oil into the pan for frying
5. Saute garlic until golden brown and add the pork
6. Add salt and ground pepper while sauteeing
7. Cover the pan and simmer for a few minutes
8. Once the pork releases its oil, add the marinade
9. Allow to cook for a few more minutes
10. Serve with hot rice and fried eggplant. Enjoy!
