今回は広島県三次市にあります吉舎艮神社のイチョウの紹介です。

上皇が宿泊した際に「吉き舎り（よきやどり）」と言われたことが名の由来
吉舎艮神社（吉舎町）・・・ここで上皇は宿泊されたと伝わる。神社の周りに勝田池という池があり、歌を詠んでいる。
The name comes from the fact that the retired emperor stayed there and was referred to as "Yokiyadori" (good lodging).
Kisagon Shrine (Kisa Town) - It is said that the retired emperor stayed here. Surrounding the shrine is a pond called Katsutaike, and the poem "Katsutaike" (Pond Pond) is said to have been written about it.
