Support Connexion: Music, Community & Mental Wellbeing

We're raising funds to support Connexion, a unique monthly programme that uses the power of music, DJing, music technology, and podcasting to bring people together, start conversations, and support mental wellbeing.

Each Connexion session is like a coffee morning—with a creative twist. It’s a welcoming, relaxed space where participants explore music and sound as a way to express themselves, connect with others, and take a break from isolation and stress. We run workshops and conversations around music, offer hands-on experiences with DJ equipment and production software, and invite guests to share their stories through sound.

But Connexion is more than just a music workshop—it’s a rotating, inclusive programme designed specifically for marginalised communities. Each month focuses on a different group, including:

Older adults facing loneliness

Women seeking a safe space for creativity and connection

Middle-aged men struggling in silence

Refugees and asylum seekers finding their voice in a new place

Neurodivergent individuals seeking community and understanding

This month, in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re dedicating Connexion to mental health and wellbeing. The need for safe, creative community spaces has never been more urgent—and we need your help to make it happen.

Hiring experienced facilitators and mental health-aware mentors

Providing access to music equipment and production tools

Covering venue costs, refreshments, and travel for participants
