Heavy tank destroyer project based on the E 100 chassis. The Jagdpanzer E 100, like the G.W. E 100, never existed in metal, although the idea of creating a tank destroyer on the E 100 platform may have been considered by designers. The Jagdpanzer E 100 structurally combines the E 100 chassis, a superstructure in the form of a modified E 100 turret, and a heavy anti-tank gun, the 17 cm PaK 46 (possibly a version of the 17 cm K 72 (Sf) from the G.W. Tiger, adapted for tank destroyer requirements and standards).
