This video is all about what I learned while redecorating my bedroom. When I painted a mural on my wall as my headboard, I learned that rearranging is all it takes to make a room feel new sometimes. When I painted my bedroom, I learned a lot about how to paint a bedroom but also about choosing the right paint color. I'm a terrible sleeper and this series actually made me learn a lot about why. Blue light can disrupt our sleeping patterns, so using a warm colored light next to your bed might benefit you. I also learned that I like what I like and that just becuase something is trendy or will match with my room doesn't mean I have to get it. Framing my closet reminded me that sometimes these projects don't go as planned and that's ok. It's hard, but you'll learn from it. I also learned that when you can't fix something, covering it up works just as well. And the last thing I learned is that if you're not happy with how something turns out in your room makeover, change it. No shame. I do have quite a lot to do still, too. I'm going to be doing a travel gallery wall, building something to display my favorite travel souvenirs: keychains, and so much more.
