Instant Regret! Testing My Custom Triumph Scrambler | 2 Week Build Part 3

Not sure why I did this to myself but I decided to build a race bike for the 2025 Biltwell 100 vintage bike race. I only have 2 weeks to build the bike, 1 to test and 1 to get to the Mojave Desert in Ridgecrest California. Follow along as I show you my process in part one of the build series.

I just bought this perfect 2012 Triumph Scrambler 900 — and now I’m tearing it apart. Why? Because I signed up for the Biltwell 100, a gnarly desert race happening in just 2 weeks.

Here’s the kicker… I just had surgery and there's only one week left before the race!

In this video I test the large offroad tires on the scrambler 900 as well as add 1 inch of extra suspension travel to the bike. Making the Triumph Scambler 900 truly offroad capable is a lot of fun.

This is the 3rd video in my 4-part series building a hooligan desert sled out of a showroom-condition Triumph. Big tires, upgraded suspension, fender hacks, and hopefully not too many broken bones. Let’s go.
