Ichigo rushes in and discovers that the monster he must fight is someone’s family. The emotional climax unfolds as Orihime faces her brother’s corrupted spirit, breaking through his rage with love and sorrow. In a heartbreaking moment of clarity, Sora begs Ichigo to end his torment. Ichigo purifies his soul, giving Sora peace at last, while Orihime tearfully says goodbye to the only family she ever had.
