This is a second excerpt of my Rhapsody for Violin (with improvisations) "Zero Gravity Midnight Express" (which is part of a larger work called: "Cosmomotive"), and Symphony Orchestra, including a piano and a Roland D-50 Synthesizer.
Composed in 2012, it was premiered by the Orchestre symphonique du Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean, conducted by Jacques Clément with myself on Solo Violin and Matt Herskowitz on piano and keyboards.
It is based on themes I wrote during my New York years in the 70ties and foreshadows the sound of my group MELOSPHERE, which I founded in Montréal at the beginning of the 80ies.
