The North Face VECTIV PRO 3 - STACKED !!! // But stable ???

The North Face Vectiv Pro 3 - Finally putting some serious miles and VERT into these! The PRO 3 is STACKED - both in midsole (43mm measured at the heel!) and carbon plates (2 of them!).. Does this setup hold up in steep and rocky terrain? I run the Mickinnick Trail in Sandpoint, Idaho - rough and rugged, with a little bit of summit bushwacking for good measure.

Lot's of FUN running here - tag along and see what I think about these super shoes from The North Face. I'm strongly considering these for my next 100K - Beaverhead over in Salmon, Idaho - later this week. What are the pros and cons of this shoe, and on that course specifically? A follow up video is already in the works, where I debate my race shoe choice further. That one will release on race morning, July 12.
