Mini Buns
1 cup of warm water
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast or fast acting dry yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
2 and 1/2 cup of all purpose flour (no other type)
You should probably made double the recipe because they wont last another day. You can make them bigger if you like.
Dissolve the yeast in warm water and the sugar. Add the flour as shown in the video; along with the salt. Kneed for quite a while so that the dough is smooth and elastic. Place in a large bowl coating the outside of the dough in the oil and cover until double.
Line a large baking tray with parchment paper and place golf ball sized (shaped balls) on the sheet; leaving space between and so they don't bake together on the pan. Allow to double in size again and remember, you can also make them the size you want. They don't have to be mini buns.
One doubled, bake in a 400 degree oven until golden. I like mine on the darker side. They have more flavor that way, but bake as you wish.
