Metroid Dread - Fun in the Moment, but Unfocused in Structure

19 Years after Metroid Fusion, Nintendo finally decided that it gives a solitary fuck about 2D Metroid, and with Mercury Steam at the wheel, have finished the long rumored Project Dread.

But with all of that pressure, can it really live up to the legacy of Metroid?

Uh oh, is this a bad opinion alert? Cause I'd say no, in my opinion it doesn't, but that also doesn't mean the game ain't good, just that I find it's contemperaries more interesting.
