Ukraine captures Chinese mercenaries

Ukraine's defense forces in the Donetsk region captured two Chinese citizens who fought in the Russian army (2 out of the group of 6 Chinese nationals were captured alive, the other 4 were not so lucky). There are documents confirming the identities of these prisoners, bank cards, personal data.

There is information that there are significantly more Chinese citizens in the units of the Russian Armed Forces than two. Unlike North Korean soldiers in Russian army who are mostly located on the territory of Russian Kursk region, Chinese soldiers are operating on the territory of Ukraine.

President Zelensky instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to contact Beijing and find out how China is going to react to this.
