Описание:
Ferencváros is a station on the outskirts of Budapest city centre. It's the location of one of the city's main motive power depots and a yard. Freight is very frequent, and during the time I visited, one of the three main termini in the city (Budapest Keleti) was closed, so a few of the long distance EuroCity services from countries like Poland and Romania were diverted here, and the Railjet services from Austria. Most of the diesels and some of the older electrics are about 50 years old (or older) but still alive and kicking in active service. I stayed here all day until my camera batteries ran out!
