🍮 Fruit & Nuts Custard Dessert Recipe
Ingredients (serves 4)
3 cups milk
2–3 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor works best)
3–4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup mixed fresh fruits (apple, banana, grapes, pomegranate, mango, strawberry—any you like)
¼ cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios), chopped
1 tbsp raisins (optional)
A few drops of vanilla essence (optional)

1. Prepare the custard
1. Heat 2.5 cups of milk in a saucepan.
2. In a small bowl, mix custard powder with ½ cup cold milk to make a smooth paste (no lumps!).
3. Once the milk starts to heat, add sugar and stir.
4. Gradually pour in the custard mixture while constantly stirring.
5. Cook on low flame until the custard thickens (3–5 minutes).

💡 Tips
Avoid adding citrus fruits (orange, pineapple) directly to custard—they may turn bitter or watery. If adding, mix right before serving.
Adjust the thickness by adding more or less milk.
