Here is another installment in the process of full restoration of one of these champions of the 1960s. This Fisher 500-C is an early production model made sometime in early 1963. Later models have a much smaller FM Front End that Fisher called the Golden Synchrode.
This particular unit was loaded with problems and physical damage. This has all been corrected and we are in the home stretch on the way to burn in and final alignment.
