Paint n Chat: Whitetail Buck: Pt 3

On this previously streamed Facebook livestream, I continued painting my Whitetail Buck. Today I worked on the background and blocking in of the base coat of the deer.

It’s painted on an 8x10 block of wood that was primed 24 hours in advance with Liquitex Gesso.
I am using Liquitex Acrylic paint in Heavy Body, and Basics. I may also use some Golden Acrylic paints.
The reference photo for this painting was provided by Don Barrick, with permission to use in my tutorial.
It is for teaching purposes of this tutorial only.

Liquitex Heavy Body and Liquitex Basics acrylic paints.
Tracing Paper
