With over 6 km (3.7 miles) of twisting passages, five hidden entrances, a depth of 286 m (938 ft), and the country’s largest natural cavern, this cave is one of the most mysterious places in Canada.
On Day One, we began our descent into darkness: crawling through icy squeezes, rappelling into vertical shafts, and exploring the massive chamber that could swallow entire buildings. But as the tunnels twisted deeper and deeper, we realized something terrifying… we were lost.
