Join us with this multi-part video series documenting the construction of two 1-1/2” scale, 7.5” gauge wooden cabooses from Titian Trains. An end cupula and a center cupola caboose.
In Part 1, we start by unpacking the kit.
The Tunnel, Cut & Trestle Railroad.
Originally built in the late 1950s by my father and Walt Disney at our former residence in Southern California. This railroad features over 2,000 feet of 7.5”-gauge track, complete with a tunnel, a cut, and two trestles. Every Sunday, my father would open the railroad to the neighborhood, inviting everyone to come and ride the train. Thanks to the incredible restoration efforts led by Steve Alley of Allen Models, this cherished piece of history has been brought back to life.
