Unboxing a Gnome Mould & the Wolf That Stumped Us!

158a| We unboxed a surprise from the lovely Dennis at Resin Supplies Den and found three mystery moulds! Inside were a stunning half-wolf half-tree, a sneaky lily pad, and a cheeky build-your-own gonk. Things got messy fast — from simple resin pours to testing AquaCast on an insanely detailed wolf mould.

Team Kirnix was in full force, complete with a few “ooh, shut it!” moments when we realised just how tricky these were going to be. We used a super watery AquaCast mix to capture every tiny detail, then dry-brushed with purple to bring that wolf to life — pro tip: a wet wipe is your best mate for cleaning up those fiddly bits! Then came the gonk… and let's just say, the jump rings nearly broke us. If you’ve ever looked at a mould and thought, “Nope, too hard,” this one’s for you. The end results? Gorgeous little home décor keepsakes that made it all worth it.
