In the preceding segment, Jo Wilson, portrayed by Camilla Luddington, dealt with the psychological fallout from surviving an emergency C-section. She still needed time to heal from the trauma she experienced while giving birth to her children because she was still sensitive and frequently lost her temper with her folks. She was seen bonding with another mother later in the program, with whom she was able to talk about her postpartum difficulties candidly. But after the mother passed away, things drastically changed, and Jo was not allowed to access her information or assist her in any manner. She was brought to tears because she believed it was her responsibility to assist, but she was not permitted to do so.
Peyton and Hattie were still in the NICU while Jo was recuperating, according to the most recent episode of Grey's Anatomy. She wanted to have as much time as possible with them; it saddened her. Given her circumstances, Jo's emotions were running high, and when she learned that Winston (played by Hill) had gone out with her "favorite nurse" a few times, she snapped at him. Jo responded to Link's attempt to stop her by telling her that it was not their place to get involved: She is the most beloved nurse in the entire department. She is adored by all. Everyone. She started crying after that. Jo made friends with another mother while visiting the NICU later in the episode of Grey's Anatomy to see how her babies were doing. She started crying once more when called "Peyton and Hattie's mom," claiming that the postpartum hormone decreases were to blame.
Without delay, he picked up her wheelchair and removed her from the nurse's station. But being dragged away against her will did not sit well with Jo. She was unable to comprehend the changes and sobbed as a result. Jo confided in Link later in the episode, acknowledging that she had already shed tears in front of too many people. But Link reassured her that everything would be alright because they were aware of her predicament. He reassured her that her heart was "recovering" and that everything she was going through was "temporary." When Link complimented Jo on supporting the mother as much as she could, Jo sobbed once more, realizing that her efforts had been appreciated.
The most important question raised by this episode is whether Bailey and Owen would proceed with a risky procedure despite everyone's fear of legal action. Yes, Bailey is Bailey, and it alters the atmosphere at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. However, Episode 8 of Grey's Anatomy Season 22 has been bubbling with more than just that. In Episode 8 of Grey's Anatomy Season 22, Bailey found herself completely at a standstill with the rest of the board, which created tension at Grey Sloan. London, her patient, has a benign tumor that squeezes her heart and lungs and gradually robs her of her regular life. Chemotherapy didn't seem to be effective. Due to the patient's frequent crashes on the operating table, two previous procedures were halted in the middle. Given how dangerous it would be to proceed, the majority of doctors would wash their hands and leave the case. Neither Owen nor Bailey, being Bailey, wants to.
