I picked up a 2008 Mercedes ML63 AMG (W164 chassis) with just over 100k miles on it for only $7,000. These trucks were $90,000+ new and packed with a hand-built 6.2L M156 V8. Now I’m investing $4–5k in parts to bring it back to life and restore it to its former glory.
In this video, I show the condition of the SUV as purchased, talk through the restoration plans, and outline the parts I’ll be replacing. From suspension to intake, this ML63 will be getting a full refresh.
