Brandon Sanderson has as many fans of his work as he does critics and detractors. While some of us will praise his characters and worldbuilding in any given Cosmere work, others may pan it or consider it mediocre at best. But there is usually one thing that most of us can agree on. There is usually one thing that Brandon Sanderson brings to the Cosmere that even his critics will usually agree is well done. That one thing is the magic.

Sanderson manages to craft incredibly well structured magic systems in the Cosmere and his reputation for magic systems are lauded even in general fantasy circles and not just the fandom. And when I realised this, I instantly asked myself why I had not yet made a video listing my favourite magic systems yet.
