Adding Interior Details to the Arched Stone Building

UPDATE A Viewer just pointed out to me that my channel home page does not have a "Posts" tab - the tab is actually the "Community" tab. Don't ask me why, but as Channel Owner, that tab appears to me as "Posts." Go figure...

I’VE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE ASK ME why I detail all four sides of my structures when one or two of the sides will invariably be hidden from view. I have two – no, three – answers to that question. The first answer is that when I’m building a structure, I often don’t know exactly where I’m going to place it on my layout, so by detailing all four sides, I’ll have complete freedom to place it anywhere, oriented in any direction. The second answer is that my current layout may not be my final layout, and detailing all four sides will insure that my structures will find a home on my new layout. My third answer is that, as an engineer with more than a little OCD, it would drive me NUTS to have an unfinished side!

SPECIAL NOTE ON FIGURE SELECTION: Try to select figures which suggest action without portraying action – for example, two baseball teams standing along the baselines model the pre-game playing of the national anthem and suggest that the game will begin soon. This scene will look realistic in photos and in real time. On the other hand, players running the bases or throwing a ball will look just fine in photos, but will look unnatural when viewed live.
