Barden's Killer is a simple and deadly nymph, tied on a heavy hook with a large wire rib it gets down while still being competition legal. You can of course tie them smaller if needed to good effect. Carry a selection of colours for when you want something scruffy and suggestive.

Thread: 8/0 uni to match body colour
Tail: Hackle fibres
Body: Seal fur- black, claret, olive or brown are good
Ribs: Pearl tinsel and large copper wire
