Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancee, American actress Meghan Markle, took the capital of Wales by storm on Thursday.
They spent about an hour meeting royal well-wishers who had braved the cold at Cardiff Castle in the hope of catching a glimpse of the pair.
The couple took their time to talk to the crowd, signing autographs, posing for selfies and accepting gifts.
At one point, Markle politely fended off an offer from two local residents to take her on a hen night around the nightclubs of Cardiff.
She also met her namesake - a 10-year-old Welsh schoolgirl called Megan.
The visit was part of Harry and Meghan's tour of UK towns and cities in the months leading up to their wedding.
