We must understand the difference between “What we do” and “Who we are.” When we choose to place our identity in something that is temporary, we build our house upon an uneven foundation. And when our foundation gets shaken, the Enemy uses the chaos to attack who we are. In today’s teaching, Pastor Ryan teaches out of Hebrews 11:24-26, where Moses refuses to identify as an Egyptian. Moses understood that if his identity was not firmly rooted in who God created him to be, it would be easy to get caught up in the carnal things of this world and miss what really matters.
