You can also relatively easily remove the racks to install Tonneau cover. For 2014 GMC sierra I ended up using part number 50120 for the adapter mount. And part number 15024 for the rack itself.
Keep in mind you don’t want to substitute this with a different part number for the rack because it will sit to high and look very ugly.
I bought some 3/16 thick steal from Home Depot to act as spacers. This may be different from what I said in the video however 3/16th is the right thickness. You really don't have to modify the Thule Rack atall. Just swap the racks bar around so rhe rounded peice is facing up front.
