Dennis Mugambi faced the challenge of losing his hearing at the tender age of two due to a mumps infection. However, his remarkable journey of perseverance and determination began when he enrolled at Kerugoya School for the Deaf at the age of seven.
His thirst for knowledge and commitment to his education led him to the prestigious University of Nairobi, where he successfully earned his bachelor's degree in 2018. But Denis didn't stop there; he embraced the opportunity to further his education, thanks to a scholarship provided by the Crystal Foundation from the United Kingdom. Currently, he is on the cusp of completing his master's degree in Human Rights at the same institution, with his graduation expected later this year.
Throughout his life, Denis has been profoundly moved by the unwavering support and love he received from his parents and teachers, who never let his deafness deter his dreams and aspirations.
