Sirdo, I live in the southern hemisphere where the weather is mostly always worm life is great, don't have winter - it is fantastic, we're heading to the middle of the rainy season where it is going to be a bit cooler, and wet for the bees.
I pour dry sugar inside their beehive there's a method to it, feed them dry sugar at this time of year because syrup will make them build population.
Another thing with cooler nights the syrup can turn bad so with that out of the way the bees won't get dysentery, I don't want to give bees diarrhea.
Remember they're going to cluster and they're going to be stuck inside the hive so I feed them dry sugar
This seppie of putting the dry sugar over the medium super is to get them through the rainy season it's an insurance policy sirdo, there are a lot of ways to do it, by the way I only use processed granulated sugar weather it comes from cane or weather it comes from beets really doesn't matter.
It's a sugar sucrose source for the bees to help them generate the energy to survive the rainy season and I just take it and pour. H.T.Y.
