Alone on an Abandoned Sailboat — My Real Restoration Story

Over the past few months, I’ve been restoring an abandoned sailboat. It belonged to friends of friends who could no longer take care of it. I asked if I could take it, and they agreed—on one condition: I had to pay off the marina debts and move the boat somewhere I could actually work on her.

From the very first moment I saw this boat, I fell in love. I knew right away that we were meant for each other, and I jumped headfirst into the restoration project. It hasn’t been easy, but every step has been a learning experience

I started sharing my journey in my native language, but now I want to connect with people all over the world—those who love freedom, the ocean, and chasing their dreams. Even if boats aren’t your thing, maybe something in my story will resonate
