► ABOUT THIS HIKE
In July 2025, I embarked on a 7-day journey through Mishmi hills of Arunachal Pradesh with six other members. We were accompanied by EMUDU TREKKERS, a group of young, local trekkers from Anini. Our adventure began with Emuli grassland, stretching 4.1 kms with 3000 feet of elevation gain, which ended in Aniku camp.
From there, we moved through a forested area stretching about 6 kms and reached the second camp Chebran D (11000 ft). On the third day we moved towards base camp at 12000 feet crossing the beautiful first lake along the way. Then on the fourth day we hiked towards lake 3 and 4, and lakes 5,6,7 on the fifth; starting our descent on the 6th day. The experience was out of this world for each one of us.
