This Cenotaphe VII, which is a Chaconne, in this version for 2 pianos op.71 n.3b, was originally intended as the 3rd of four movements, from Sirodeau's Sumphônia IX Tombeaux (2018). It's mainly an Hommage to François-René de Chateaubriand, here played by the composer and Nikolaos Samaltanos.
